Roger Richards

Roger Richards is the Founder and Head Trainer of Toronto K9 Center in Whitby, Ontario. Roger has been professionally training dogs since 1986 and brings more than 40 years of hands-on experience working with family companions, puppies, working dogs, police dogs, personal protection dogs, and behavior modification. Throughout his career, Roger has trained thousands of dogs across Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, Durham Region, the Greater Toronto Area, and beyond. His experience also includes training police dogs, detection dogs, and working with professional handlers, as well as conducting international dog training seminars. Roger specializes in dog obedience training, puppy training, leash reactivity, behavior modification, board and train programs, personal protection dogs, working dogs, and professional dog trainer instructor courses. His balanced, structured, results-driven approach helps dogs become calm, confident, reliable, and responsive in real-world environments while building clear communication and lasting trust between dogs and their owners.
