Our dogs are hand-picked and must pass our rigorous evaluation both on physical, emotional and social behavior before they are selected and begin training.

Though Toronto K9 Center is not a breeding facility, our expertise, in this field can go a very long way to helping you make an educated decision that is best for you, the proposed dog breed, and your family. Our consulting services will go a very long way to ensuring that your needs and those of your family are clearly identified. Together we will identify “the right breed”, for the “right purpose” and for “the right person and family”. We will discover together what breed of dog is best suited to your unique personal and familial situation. Not every breed of dog is suited for every person or every family!
Finding the right Breed
We must, together, consider the breed best suited to your needs and situation? Large breeds or small breeds? Working dogs, Hounds, Gundogs, Terriers, Utility dogs, or Toy dogs well over 120 separate pure breeds to choose from. Together we will consider the breed, the purpose, the size, the coat conditions either long or short-haired, any allergy considerations, health, nutritional requirements, and much much more.
Once the consultations have discovered purpose, breed, temperament, we will consider a selection of the perfect dog candidate for our client from the perfect prequalified breeder. Once the specific dog candidate has been selected the client will be allowed a trial period not exceeding 48 hours to make a final decision, once this final decision is made, by the client to keep the dog, full ownership will be transferred.
